Hope this may be of use/interest to somebody HeatherC From the Trewman's Exeter Flying Post or Plymouth and Cornish Advertiser, Saturday, June 24, 1893A bear being exhibited as a wrestling bear at St. Just in Penwith, Cornwall, during the temporary absence of the keeper, seized a little boy named HOCKING, son of a miner, and gave him a very sharp hug. The bear was fortunately muzzled, and the child was rescued apparently unhurt, but very much frightened.
