Hi Noonvares - still the same thread so no concerns there. And I have also found some of my Trewhella people at Randolph. Things to do at the moment but I will have a search through the Census records later tonight for Wiliam and Stephen Woolcock. CT

I have tried but without success to find the Woolcock boys in the US in 1870. But a thought has crossed my mind! Even though the 1900 Census indicates arrival during the 1860s there might be one very good reason why they do not appear in the 1870 Census. Perhaps they were en route at the time the Census was taken! It is only a thought and a little difficult to prove given I have also been unable to find them in the Passenger lists. Another that I cannot find in the Passenger lists is William's wife and the children. But looking at the 1880 Census they must have arrived sometime in 1871 or perhaps early 1872. In the 1880 Census there is a child who was age 8 and whose birthplace was New Jersey. For now this lot must go on the list for another day. CT
