HI Peggy and welcome to the forum. Things are a bit slow at present (I've been struggling with some health issues, so not very active here lately) and our star researcher, Ian, is still in the process of moving, but hopefully some of our other knowledgeable members can work with you on your various families. Please keep checking back!

It's OK - I Am Back. ;D
Hi Peggy - Just back online today and am doing a general search of the Board to see what I have missed.
Will take me some time, as I still have lots to unpack and organise, but I will keep going back over things until I catch up.
I think, at first glance, that there will be things I can help with so keep posting and I will do my best to answer as quickly as possible.
Ian

Hi peggymes
While I can't offer a lot of information on Mary Uren , I may be able to help with Mary Watts.
Mary was the daughter of Mark Watts (1760-1833) and Mary Hosking (circa 1763-1790) Mark Watts was the son of Roger Watts (1735-1808) and Bridget Holla (1730-1790) Roger Watts was the son of George Watts (1699-1766 and Prudence ?? (circa 1700-1742) George Watts was the sone of Roger Watts (circa 1670-171) and Ann Beard (crca1675-1756)
Bridget Holla was a granddaughter of William Holla & Uslea Cock mentioned in my reply to Kerby

I have Urens in my family. They migrated to Millom Cumberland. They have Sennen and St Just connections and married into the Mitchell family who originated in the same area and also moved to Millom in the late 19th Century. The Millom Urens still live in this town.

Hi David, you might like to study the thread "James Mitchell if Boscarne" - he was the ancestor of your Mary Ann Mitchell who m Charles Uren, both Tonymitch & I have been investigating the Mitchells for some time. Charles Uren - I believe, was the the son of Benjamin Uren (aka Abednego Harvey Uren) & Frances Thomas. Abednego was the brother of Mary Uren (1812 d/o Nicholas & Tabitha) who married James Wallis in Sennen. He was the youngest son of Robert Wallis (see Wallis Humphries thread in Sennen) :)Lesley

Hi, I would be interested in any Luke family data you may have. My G G'mother was Sarah Jane Luke 1846-1936. She was born in Brazil, with her 3 brothers, whilst her parents, John 1810-1855 and Amelia (Kendall) were out there with the mine industry. After father died, Amelia returned to Gwennap, with the 4 children. I am building a tree with Ancestry.com, but struggling a bit with the Luke's, as there are so many from Cornwall. Cheers, James Higgins jameshiggins1@sky.com

Peggygymes
contact me
Taipan72-hoverton72 on ancestry
As I have these names in my tree and they're connected.
I do not know much if anything about uren--but Ive contacts that do anyways...Hocking I can tell you married into the Sparnon family..they're my direct ancestors as are wher/whear/wheare-varied spellings. They are connected and whilst I'm still learning about my family and connections...as I was adopted out at birth...I also have George,Luke,Williams,Richards, Viol etc they're all linked as are some of the other names you mentioned, as my connections have informed me...who happens to live in Cornwall.
I live in Australia.
Buzzo/Buzza is also connected to Whear etc and I have my mystery GGG gma who was residing at one point with a Sarah (I cannot recall her surname..but I have it here somewhere and she was a school teacher from the USA and there was also a 2 year old (think he was that age) , a Charles Uren also in the house at the time...My Ann/Annie boarded in this house in Cornwall with them for a bit..funnily enough though was that my Annies kids (illegitimates) where also not mentioned:-/.
