Are there any 'Georges' out there?

Hia! I was wondering if anyone knows anyone with the surname George?....Although a couple of generations on, I'm a George through and through and would love to get to know any George family members....My family lived in St Ives.....and before that the census returns suggest St Buryan and Sancreed although I cant help thinking there was a connection to Sennen? ...Basketmakers and farming? Any ideas guys? xxx

What! - You Again - Glad to see you are getting yourself known and finding your way around.

Sennen and St Buryan are neighbouring Parishes as are Sancreed and St Buryan so if part of your family came from down that way then all three Parishes (plus possibly St Levan) might be involved.

As mentioned in my reply to first post please supply some details of connections with St Ives and the more Westerly Parishes and I will be happy to look into it with you.
