Hi folks, I have just acquired a book 'From Buryan to Bondi' by Louise WILSON of South Melboure, VIC. Looks very informative. If anyone is researching this family (Roy?) I can pass on contact details. Mike

Hi Mike, Anything you can glean on the Dennis family would be great. I already have a large amount, including some wills. Also a book called Penwith and Beyond that has some of the family and some details on the line that went to Oz. If anyone else is interested in the Dennis family I would be happy to give them any details wanted. Roy

The following link will be of interest to anyone and is a detailed study of how the Protestation return was compiled. It also raises intersting thoughts about the order in which people signed. Did they come in family groups or were the returns taken around work places. www.localpopulationstudies.org.uk/PDF/LPS56/LPS56_1996_17-29.pdfI have posted it under the Dennis heading as the author raises an intersting question about whether Jenkin DENNIS and Arthur JENKIN were kin, maybe father and son. Any thoughts Roy? (I am aware we believe John DENNIS to be the father of Jenkin DENNIS)

Mike - thanks for the Protestation Returns link.
Have just read the article with interest and have 'reserved' a copy for later perusal also.
Could prove very useful when dealing with the likes of Towednack and Zennor, Sennen and St Levan etc.
