Hello All, Just a note on my families from the West Penwith : BASSETT - St.Ives BECKERLEG - St.Ives QUICK - St.Ives, Ludgvan CURNOW - Ludgvan, Towednack, Lelant, Zennor and probably St.Ives when I make the link HORWELL/HARWELL - St.Erth, Ludgvan ALLEN - Ludgvan, Lelant MORRIS - St.Erth UREN - Ludgvan ROSEWARNE - Ludgvan GONINAN - Gwithian and many more ..... I have been researching my West Penwith families for the past 3 years and my most frustrating brick walls are with the CURNOW family and the BASSETT family. If I can find just one more clue .....

A big welcome azenor. Ooh, I've got Beckerlegs, Quicks, Curnows, Uren and 1 Bassett (possibly). Hope to read your posts soon, so we can try and help break down that wall for you

Keep talking and I am sure we can do something for you. Curnow and Quick I have done some work on - and a few of the other names are there also. Get some information and queries happening and I will see what can be done for you. (And I am sure it will be all positive.) And your information may also help us.

My Beckerlegs came from Breage/Germoe.

And I am sure we can fix that problem as well. I also have Beckerleg in one of my lines as well as Quick, Curnow and many others. Get those enquiries and information coming forward and I am sure we will find some correct answers.

Thanks azenor - I notice you have posted a couple of queries in the relevant sections so I will attempt to deal with them in order and as I get to them. Looks like being a long night for me. Ian
