I may have cracked Richard WARREN Yee-hah Working on the premise that Richard WARREN was born late 1700's, and was the son of James and Margaret WARREN I have found a remarkable naming pattern with families that are most likely: Richard WARREN bpt 25 Mar 1677 married Mary STONE 2 Nov 1706 St.Just. children: Richard (bpt 3 Nov 1711), Elizabeth, Mary, William. Richard WARREN married Mary PENROSE 23 Feb 1744 St Just children: Richard, Elizabeth, Mary, William, Jane, Margaret, James(bpt 19 Jul 1761) James WARREN married Margaret JAMES 1 Dec 1788 at Madron children: Richard (bpt 27 Aug 1797), Elizabeth, Mary, Jane, Margaret, James and Grace(!) Richard WARREN married Margaret THOMAS 1823 St.Just. children: Richard, Elizabeth, William, Jane, Margaret, James and then 5 more, 4 having middle names of THOMAS and WILLIAMS and the last being Charlotte. I have changed the order of children just to highlight the same names throughout, but the odd ones out are the last children. I feel this is a fairly good case, based on the royal names through the ages, to try and find more concrete evidence of the links. Thanks to all for helping me think this through. Time for the pub, and then maybe look at THOMAS's again!
