I am researching Thomas Veal LAWRY born 13 Oct 1873 St Just, and possibly christened in Pendeen Church.
Thomas emigrated to Australia in 1882 and married Lavinia Ann ROBERTS at Sunny Corner, Orange, NSW, Australia.
He died 25 Jan 1939 at Orange.

Cannot find his baptism at Pendeen but he could have been baptised in one of the Methodist or Wesleyan Chapels. However, Sunny Corner near Orange is a little familiar to me as one branch of the TREWELLA family were in that area back in the 1800's. Another one for which I will need further information to track down. The closest I can find in the 1881 Census is a Thomas Lawry living with grandparents John and Grace JOHNS. If he was born in 1873 and emigrated in 1882 I imagine he came to Australia with his family. Please tell me a little more and I will see what I can track down for you.
