An Elizabeth Willyams married a James Harry at Madron in 1717 according to the IGI. There are subsequent christenings of a James, William and Elizabeth Harry, each described as the child of a James Harry (no mother’s name given) at Penzance on 14/7/1718, 13/7/1721 and 7/10/1723 respectively.
Does anyone have anything further on the familty , or on their antecedents? (a look at the IGI for the same failed to locate anything that seemed to be the family/people in question)

Phillimore & Taylor confirms the date of the said marriage as 5th August 1717. The entry is recorded in a way that suggests that both parties were then 'of Madron' and that the marriage occurred there. Marriages for Penzance were also recorded at Madron during this period with those events being preceeded by an (*). It seems to have been usual to record any information relating to a marital party from outside the Parish so I take it that both James HARREY and Elizabeth WILLYAMS were 'of Madron' at the time they married. That is the best I can do 'for now' but will be willing to look further into this later on.
