I have recently been invited to join and view a Rule family tree here in the states.
The link between us seems to be the Richard Osborne Rowe we could never find the definitive birth records for (b. 1847 or 1848 "Lands End").
Richard, son of William Osborne Rowe/Mary Eddy, brother to my direct James Rowe b. 1834 St. Just, m. Mary Ann Northey b. 1838, d. 1864.
Also in this tree is a Sarah Rowe b. abt. 1790 with parents listed as William Rowe b. 1760 Cornwall and Martha Pascoe b. 1763 Cornwall.
Along with 'her' William Osborne (parents Naboth Osborne/Margaret Hosken) which I had already pretty much confirmed as the father of my William Osborne Rowe without benefit of matrimony.
This is what I have found so far:
William Rowe b. 13Jan1760 Phillack d. 4 June1790 Camborne
m. 22Oct1784 Tregony w St. Cuby
Martha Pascoe b. 17Apr1763 Redruth d. 20Nov1796 Camborne
Children: William b. 14July1776; Alice b. 31Jan1779; Mary b. 20Jan1782; John b. 26Dec1784; Anne b. 29Sept1786; and SARAH b. 21Nov1789 all born Camborne.
Looking for a first wife for William to have had William, Alice, Mary and John before marrying Martha as the dates don't work here. If the marriage date is correct, probably only Anne and SARAH were Martha's.
Wm's parents: John Rowe b. 4Feb1723 Warbstow
m. 29Oct1752
Anne Walters b. 23May1725 Duloe
Martha's parents: John Pascoe
m. 4Apr1743 Kilkampton
Mary Wills
So yes, I am now tromping off down this garden path to see whether it will lead me to my Sarah. The dates are right and the circumstances for her going into service (both parents dead before she was 7-8 years old) as a cook for the Osbornes, (if that story is correct) are right, so maybe, just maybe this could be my Sarah.
As always, any help you all can give me is greatly appreciated.

P.S. other names now in play are Huthnance, Stevens, Williams, Raine, Liftchild, Bartell, Carery and Bennet.
