All my research has been done online - apart from visit to Sennen Churchyard. cross-referencing West Penwith Resources/IGI/and where possible census info. Does anyone have any idea which farms were/are part of the Falmouth Estate. I know that Brew, where my gt-gt-gts lived is still and guess that quite a few others were. Families seem to have moved around the Buryan/ St Levan/ Sennen area quite a bit.

Been having a look at the info above, the Hutchens (Hitchens) family 1881 census - Garris, Gulval is the correct family. Clara daur. 3mths is my grandmother married to Richard Cotton Kliskey. I cannot though figure out where (1861 census - Penrose, Sennen,) William Hutchens mar. to Jane & family figures. Maybe I am being a bit thick or is it a different family altogether? Maggie

Thankyou Maggie and londoner for your further notes on this subject.
Unfortunately I cannot answer or look into it this time around but will try to do so after work tonight.
Not sure about the Falmouth Estates but you may find some information online via the A2A website where I have found some interesting stuff regarding Estates and Deeds.
If you cannot find it I will try and post the link later on tonight.
Will also try and discuss Sennen and its surrounds as far as some of these families are concerned.
