For a bit of back ground information on the Richards, one should refer back to the Davey and Richards family of Zennor Posting that I am ever gratefull for Cornish Terrier for helping me.
William Richards born in 1808 died in 1874 was married to Nanny Berryman also born in 1808 died in 1852 and had the following sons;
William born in 1837
Thomas born in 1839
John born in 1841 who married Margretta Davey
Robert born in 1843
David born in 1849
The family lived in Zennor and father William was a blacksmith
and the boys became tin miners
The Berryman clan can be found right next door to the Richards family .
Mother Nanny was the daughter of David Berryman who had married Jane Osborn in 1798. This was a large family that consisted of the following children;
Arthur born in 1799 married Ann Mann
David born in 1801
William born in 1803 married Jane Michell
Mary born in 1805 who married Thomas Thomas
Jane born in 1807 who married Josiah Dally
Nanny (Nancy) born in 1808 who married William Richards
Thomas born in 1811
Grace born in 1813
Wilmot born in 1815 married Robert Boase
John born in 1817 who married Hannah Richards
Elizabeth born in 1819 who married Unknown Carter
Robert born in 1821
As for the father of the Richards boys, William Richards born in 1808 and died in 1874 , I am at a loss for information
The only plausable case is that there is one birth for William Richards in 1808 who list his father as John and Mary as his mother.
The Berryman family lived within arms reach of the Richards family and I would assume that this would be the case with any Richards relatives, yet I have yet to find any in Zennor as of yet.
If the pattern of the childrens names is used as a clue, than the first son, also named William would be named for the father.
The second son; Thomas could be named for the mothers father or her maiden name very well could be Thomas. There is the Thomas family that is in Zennor.
The brothers John and Robert could be named after possible Richards uncles or named after their mothers brothers.
David Richards is probably named after the Berryman Grandfather.
I think I have the Berryman family figured out, it is now trying to figure out William Richards side that is giving me trouble.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated and welcomed.
