Cheeky Blighter - ;D
Haven't seen you 'here' for a while but I think I did notice you active on another site a little while back!
;D
Goodonya mate for 'spreading yourself around a bit' because I noticed that your efforts were involved in helping other people.
If you could keep in touch here and get a little more involved we may be able to create some more discussion that might help sort out a few of these dilemmas.
First of all - you have done some excellent 'ferreting' and your findings help confirm my own.
At this point in time I still show 'unknown m. unknown' although I think I have some 'paperwork' here somewhere with some old notes of 'theories' that I was beginning to work on.
At this stage I have children of 'the unknowns' as:-
Ann m. John HAWKING 13th April 1691 at Zennor and died St Ives in 1748
Robert m. Agnes LEMBRY 21st November 1685 at Zennor and buried Zennor 17th February 1724
Samuel - see soon!
Mary m. Matthew GWENOP 6th November 1686 at Zennor
Jane m. Nicholas HOCKIN 1st December 1694 at Zennor
Much of this is interpreted from Wills.
Now SAMUEL.
Yes - Samuel married Ann STEVENS 7th August 1703 at Towednack
BUT - he was previously married (as far as I can tell).
Samuel MITCHELL of Zenar married Hanna DANIEL 1st May 1697 at St Agnes
There is no indication that Hanna was from anywhere other than St Agnes but I do need to wonder if she was not from the Zennor area.
Samuel and Hannah had one son, Daniel, who was buried at Zennor 24th June 1727.
I will admit difficulty in proving that Daniel belongs here but .....
Now there is actually something else that I have regarding the family of 'unknown m. unknown'.
We know that Robert MICHELL married Anne (?) sometime (probably) before 1665 and we know that he left a Will in 1709 that was proved in 1711.
At this point his wife was still alive and I believe it was she buried at Zennor 13th March 1713.
I do not have the details of Robert's Will to hand so am working on database entries at the moment but all database entries will be as a result of that Will.
My deductions are that Robert had a sister Mary who married John OSBORN at Morvah 9th July 1659.
Her Will was proved 26th July 1716.
And then there was sister Elizabeth who was married to someone named JENNINGS.
I did try some years ago to find more on the sisters but did not have the resources available.
Since then I must admit to not having tried at all!
This then becomes yet another project to be worked on and I would hope that you might be available to assist.
(Otherwise I might have to take a trip to Wodonga and ....... ;D)
In my earlier post I referred to the QUICK family research moving back to Zennor/Towednack so I really do hope that this will generate more work on the MICHELL clan.
And it must do given I still have a problem with a John QUICK who appears to have been married to Ann OSBORN.
Must leave it at that as I need to get to bed soon and be prepared for the next few days and/or more of extreme fire conditions.

BTW - Don't be a stranger here!
