You little GEM! Have just checked the original image of the 1841 Census and you are totally correct. I think the reason I could not find John was because I was working a birthdate of 1826 as deduced from the later Census. And I now have the CURNOW connection. When I looked at those two (1841/1851) Census records I that Ann Taylor would have to be the widowed mother and Hannibal was certainly a Curnow name. I decided to do a search of my database using the name of 'Ann Curnow'. BINGO! Ann Curnow bp. 27 Jan 1788 Ludgvan d/o Hannibal & Margaret Ann CURNOW m. Richard TAYLOR 5 August 1809 Ludgvan Before now I never had any children listed for them - largely because Taylor is a bit like Thomas and Smith when you go searching. So - Congratulations on a good piece of work.
