Death/Divorce Clear Creek County Colorado

I am hoping that someone may be able to help find a death or divorce in Clear Creek County of Caroline Truan.

Edwin Truan married Caroline Brandt in 1894 and their address was Floyd Hill, Clear Creek County Colorado.

There is an Edwin Truan whom I believe to be the correct person travelling in 1907 and according to the information he was single and he became an American citizen in 1894.

Zenobia, when she is able to provide more input, may be able to help more with this one.
Essentially, we are dealing with areas of the US at a time when vital records seem sparse.
Many US States did not require Federal or even State registration of BDM records and it was left to the County Offices.
In many cases this method went into at least the 1920's as far as I recall.
It may be that you would need to contact the local County Court House for the information you seek as that, I think, is where the information would have been held.
I know this was the case in Virginia City, Nevada, with one of the Trewhella families I was looking for but I was fortunate enough to have travelled there and found the records. (Copied them, of course.)
