Jim, thanks for that link, will check it out in the next few days.
Rowen, thanks for that information. I seem to be missing a few pieces of the puzzle but will keep your information aside and see if I can find the missing pieces.
I also have links to EDDY and ROWE, so if you want to have a look at my Family Tree let me know and I will give you the Password etc. You might be able to find some links.

UREN. I am searching for some URENs, but none, it would appear, of the aforementioned on this thread. Has anyone anything on the antecedents of GRACE UREN 1739 St.Ives (Husband Richard Martins 1734 Towednack). Her father may be Arthur 1715, and g-father James (died 1694). David

Hi
John Glasson & Christian Uren who married 26/12/1770 were I believe my 6xgparents. I have Christian Uren down as born Polpear, Lelant, baptized 27/7/1746, daughter of Thomas Uren & Joan Ninnes. I have siblings down as Joan, Mary, Elizabeth, Thomas, Thomas & Ann.

Sue - the details appear to be correct as shown in my database.
Thomas was baptised at Lelant 30th July 1721 son of Edmund Uren and Christian Bennatts who married about 1713.
To my knowledge this marriage has not yet been found.
And this was also a second marriage for Edmund Uren .
Once again the marriage has not been found and the name of his first wife is currently still unknown to me.

I am interested in the identity of the Margery Uren who married John Lugg in Lelant on 26 December 1766.
As Margery was often used as an alternate form of Margaret, I am wondering whether John Lugg's wife had been baptised as Margaret. There is a burial record for a Margery Lugg in St Ives on 24 June 1786. She is recorded as being 48 years old at time of death. This fits in with the Margaret Uren who was baptised on 26 December 1739 in Gulval, the daughter of John Uren and Jane Wheren.
Does anyone have any information that could support or disprove this theory?
