I am trying to find further information on the batch of names I listed above. My research techniques are almost non-existent. I'm still learning . My computer is as slow as a tortoise on crutches, so everything takes forever .....................
The South African information - that's all I have. My cousin was researching the UREN name in SA and he obtained Death Notices for the above people. Neither of us knows where they fit into our Tree. I thought it a good idea to put that information on this Message Board just in case someone is looking for those names.
I would be very interested in some South African "helpers" so any information would be most welcome.

Who are these "helpers" in South Africa?
I find it nigh impossible to get any information from South Africa except what's listed in NAAIRS and then the scant information has to be "applied" for. Try emailing them and you find you are dealing with a bunch of twits. Apparently the country is in chaos and they are trying to teach the "locals" how to use computers and I've been told NOT to hold my breath ................ ::)because it could take years.................
Time for a change of government again, methinks ;D
Seriously though, I would be interested to know who your "helpers" are.
Although a bit more modern... I have a William Osborne Rowe b. 23Jan1832 in St. Buryan who married Salina Jane Uren b. 22Feb1834 in St. Austell. Married in 1853. Parents Thomas Uren and Charlotte Jeffrey. She died 27Oct 1921 in Hancock, MI Children: Mary Charlotte Rowe b. 28Jun1854 St. Blazey; Selina Jane Rowe b. 26Feb1856, St. Blazey; Levinda Ellen Rowe b. 23 Feb1861 St. Blazey; William Thomas Rowe b. 15 Jul1862 St. Blazey; Elizabeth Agnes Rowe b. 23Apr1865 Hancock, MI; and William Henry Uren Rowe b.7Apr1867 Hancock, MI. I do not know if they all came over or not or when. This is not from my direct work, but has proved to be accurate most of the time. Only Uren I have over here.
I have found William Osborne Rowe (1832) and chr. 19 Feb 1832 St. Just. Parents William and Mary. LDS/freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com The info I had on St. Buryan was incorrect as is much I have gotten here in the US. I now know that my James (1834), Thomas (1842) and William Osborne (1832) all were chr. in St. Just, parents: William Osborn and Mary Eddy Rowe.
William Osborne Rowe and Salina Jane (or Selina, daughter of Thomas Uren and Charlotte Jeffery) had a total of five children in St. Blazey, four daughters and one son and then another daughter and son in Michigan. I left off Elizabeth Ann 20Oct1859 St. Blazey on my previous list, sorry. Here again Salina's (Selina) parents is the work of someone else in the US, so always open to question.
