No, have to disagree there. What I see as the 'last word' is of six characters beginning with what reads to me as 'ef'.
The large looping character in the middle of that bottom line I believe flows down as part of the last character of the first word on the second line.
Finally - the last character on that bottom line is not an 's'. If you look at the name 'Glasson' on the line above you will see the double 's' written as 'fs' which was the custom in those days and neither character in the 'fs' is similar to that last character on the bottom line.

Good morning Colin
I have spent a lot of time, largely in conjunction with CT, on the Glasson family. What has been particularly frustrating is the large number of entries and other genealogical data that is wrong and lacks any relevant form of verification for the assumptions made. I agree with you in that eventually DNA analysis will be the tool that will simplify family studies. That is because, at least with the Glasson family, we are back as far as we can be with any certainty. Yes, the 1707 John may be who we think he is, but equally he may not be that person. I have not added that piece of information to my family database.
I would like to personally thank you for your studies into this Glasson family because trying to unearth new documents is the only way we can move forward, in my humble opinion :-) I will certainly give you any assistance I possibly can.
