Hi, I've just joined this interesting site. I'm trying to find what happened to Margery Sisley. born 1865 St. Ives. parents Margery Thomas Rogers and John Sisley. Last known whereabouts 1881 census living with grandparents, John and Thomasine Sisley as mother had passed away. My main interest is the Rogers family St. Ives, Madron, Gulval, Redruth. In this family include the surnames Williams, Berriman, Sisley, Richards, Hix, Thomas. I've also lost part of a family in the 1851 census, I've checked England, and Wales. I have Elizabeth Rogers, Henry Rogers son, Henry Rogers grandson, John Rogers grandson. missing Eleanor Rogers wife to Henry, Eleanor Rogers, daughter. William Rogers, Samuel Rogers, Elizabeth Rogers and Margery Thomas Rogers. Did they go far afield for visiting or holidays? Sue

Hello Sue and welcome to the forum. Once Ian is back (I think he took a day off), he can probably help you in your search - he is very good! Why don't you post a thread with some additional details for your Rogers and Sisleys on the St. Ives board, and we will see if we can locate them.

I am back - and did have a day off - but it was enforced due to a server failure again! Welcome aboard and I will do what I can - but it cannot be tonight, unfortunately. Keep posting any information you think might help and I will try to look at things in the next day or so. Ian

Welcome to the site 'hollybenemily'. In answer to your first posting - you can't actually do a name search here as you can with 'familysearch' etc. We are set up more as a forum where people can place and discuss queries about the family and we do our best to help with answers, information and/or advice to help you find what you are looking for. So - Ask Away! Your second posting regarding Anthony Tregerthen. Suggest you to to the St Ives section on the Parish Board with this one. Click on 'St Ives' to open it and then click on the 'New Thread' button to begin your new topic. We will continue conversation from there. Meanwhile - would that be the Anthony Tregerthen, mariner, who married Grace Wallis at St Ives in 1760 If so, then I currently only have the Marriage and also the baptism of daughter Elizabeth recorded in my database. However, I will be happy to give you a hand to see if we can track him down. Please begin your new thread and tell me what you know so far and I will do what I can.
