Hello
I have in my database two Glasson brothers who were sons of William Glasson and Grace Penhalle.
They were: John Penhalle Glasson - 1797 - 1851 and who married Honor BISHOP Thomas Glasson - 1802 - 1870 and who married Jane MURRISH
Both of these couples had a son named Thomas born around 1827.
Up until now I have had the two Thomas's incorrectly assigned. To be correct they should be:
Thomas, son of John Penhalle & Honor Glasson, was born about 1827 and died in 1910 in Redruth - sometimes called Thomas Henry Glasson.
Thomas, son of Thomas & Jane Glasson, was born about 1827 and died in 1855 at the Union House, Illogan.
As I have had this incorrect for quite a number of years it is possible that I have misinformed other researchers.

Thanks Lannanta - I did not have any details on those two in my database so had not recorded the error but I have now updated accordingly. I presume you have some further details on both? Also, I suspect you may have the baptism for the son of Thomas and Jane but odds are you may not have one for the son of John and Honour. I have just found the latter but here are both just in case with the source being the Bawden Transcripts. Thomas son of Thomas and Jane Glasson of Town, miner, baptized 8th September 1827 Redruth Thomas Henry son of John and Honour BISHOP of Town, miner, baptized 15th April 1827 Redruth I did have baptisms for all children of John and Honour born prior to July 1837 with the exception of Thomas. I thought that just a little strange so did a search of the OPC database for any child named Tho(mas) with parents John and Hon(or) born between 1824 and 1829. The standout result was the above. CT

The reason for the change comes from the 1899 death in Nevada County, California for another son of John Penhalle Glasson, this time James born about 1829.
I have been advised that James left all his bits and pieces to his brother Thomas Henry Glasson in Redruth. In the will reference also to sisters Jane Spear and Elizabeth Hosking so all ties in. If you have access to Ancestry you may find the will and probate but I do not have access.
The following is the death for the other Thomas who died much earlier.
