Welcome to the site Bradley. Your best approach would be to create a post outlining what you are searching for. If you know the Parish the family came from then there may be a forum for that Parish so that would be the best place to start. If there is not a forum for the particular Parish then use the 'Queries' forum to add your post. Give us an idea of what you know and then what you would like to know and we will try our best to help you find what you want. CT

My father gave me a basic outline of my family tree going back to John Tryourne 1540-1614. I've found when William Dunkin Trewren came to Australia on board the Phoebe Dunbar, June 1852 and just enjoying gathering information relating to any of my Trewren descendents to pass onto my son's. Thankyou for the welcome

I believe that your Ephraim Trewren may be the brother of my William Trewren who was born 19/06/1785 in Ludgvan, Cornwall. The parents of William were George Trewren and Catherine Hall who married 07/02/1774 in Ludgvan. If you have any more information about spouses and place names this may be the family you are looking for.

I haven't completed a lot of work on this family but they do seem to be from the Ludgvan area and if you go back to the Thomas Trewren who married a Katherine Seyley then the family were from Sancreed at that time. Please let the Penwith Genealogy site know any queries that you have as there may be more help available than I can help you with.

Thankyou,I've been gathering most of my information using trove newspaper search, based on my dad's basic family tree outline. I guess at the end of all this I just want a collection of facts, stories and photos ( I only have 2 photo's one of Henry 1879-1943 with 3 of his brother's and one of Joseph 1897-1962 with his second wife Ellen 1894-1967 ) thanks for the advice.
