William Frad was born about 1717 in Little Petherick\St Petroc Minor, Cornwall, England. He married Ann Clemoes (nee Ball) on 18 Mar 1765 in Little Petherick\St Petroc Minor, Cornwall, England. He died on 13 Apr 1792. William Frad has one 'D' inscribed on his headstone and is buried in a quaint little churchyard in Little Petherick, Cornwall. Ann is buried in the same plot. Their marriage certificate shows Fradd with two D's.
Ive various other names going back further than this but nothing with 'source citations'.

That is true .... but if you have a look at the image (available via FamilySearch) you will see that the groom signed his name as 'Frad'.
That does not necessarily indicate which is correct and it is quite possible William signed differently in other documents. And you may find members of the same family settling on different spellings. e.g. William may have settled on 'Frad' but he could potentially have a brother who might have gone with 'Fradd'.
And depending on how the name was actually pronounced you might even find it as 'Fraed' or other variations.
