I'm a new member to the Penwith Forum, but Kathie's interest and help when I was beginning to tackle Cornish wills a few years back will always be remembered as having given me the confidence to deal with a very mysterious and daunting bunch of records. So, thank you a ton for that, Kathie.
And thank you, too, for having established this forum. I just discovered it not long ago, and have read with interest the very helpful comments and advice from members to other members. It's such a blessing to have people to bounce things off of and who will contribute ideas and perceptions that we may miss on our own.
Now that I've discovered you all here, I will try to do my best to help in any way I can. And I want to send you, Kathie, the encouragement to continue with this big step you've taken. May it be the one that will send you on a path toward healing. And I will be hoping, too, that your mother realizes that one more phone line won't make the house explode!
May 2008 be a much better year for you -- and for everyone on the Penwith boards. Thank you all.
Barbara

I too am new. Just been looking round the board and 'clicked' onto this conversation a few mins ago.
What a great bunch of 'members' you all are. Really supportive. It makes one proud to be associated with you all. Just include me in with the supportive comments. One problem with just writing is that it is almost impossible to convey emotion. Having said that however it is obvious how you all feel about Kathie. I've never met her, nor as far as I can remember, have we ever communicated, but if your comments are anything to go by she must be one hell of a girl.
Kathie, if you need any help in navigating your way around psychiatric services, pills/conselling etc. just email me. It's my job!

Barbara and Tony - I would like to express my deep gratitude after reading your comments. Kathie is a great girl and it was her vision and ambition to create this Forum. She ran the idea by me a couple of years back and I must say that I was a little sceptical - however I did agree to Beta Test and things went well enough for Kathie to really get things rolling. The biggest shock for me was when Kathie announced that I was a 'resident expert'. But the best thing is that, as mentioned, everyone is working to try and help each other as best they can. I have been offline for a couple of weeks and when I regained access I found a lot of interaction between members had been happening during my absence. I think this is one helluva boost for Kathie. Thank you all again and I will be discussing things with you in other parts of the Board. Cornish Terrier (No-one has asked why I use the name 'Cornish Terrier' ) So I won't tell.
