Elfreda was a descendant of James Quick and Catherine Trewhella and is an ancestor (grandmother) of my latest DNA match. As far as I can tell, my link is if I am correct in identifying Jennifer Taylor Semmons as the daughter of Richard Taylor and Prudence Stevens. This seems to be proving out with all of my links being to the Quick family-- no Curnows (yet-- sorry Sue)
Is anyone else researching this line?

She was born in New South Wales in 1900 to John Curnow and Betsey Jane Johns and married Clarence Lewis in 1932. She would be my 7th cousin twice removed. If you haven't already taken a DNA test, I highly recommend it! We Cornish are cousins, and it shows up Zib

Hi
I am looking for my great great grandfather and I think he may be related to your John Curnow.
Are you on Ancestry or GEDCOM re your DNA?
My username is robyn_dundas on Ancestry and Robyn Dundas on GEDCOM.
I would really love your username/s so I could check if that' s OK with you.
Looking forward to hearing from you
Robyn

Hi, Robyn,
I have sent you a personal message. I use Ancestry.com, Gedmatch, My Heritage and Family Tree DNA with varying degrees of success. It is interesting since the test is the same.
