I have been researching my family, and have a lot of information. My Great Grandparents lived in St. Just. Thomas Bond and Celia Appledore. The Cornwall Census and other sites have allowed me to take families' genealogy back several generations. Thomas' parents were Thomas Bond and Eliza Grenfell. The Bonds prior to St Just lived in Newlyn, Madron and Gulval. The Grenfells were from St. Just. Eliza's Father was Pascoe Grenfell and Mother was Mary Bottrell (from Sennen). The Appledores were from Salt Ash. I know some of the Appledores ended up in Australia and that's where the name continues. Celia's Father was Thomas Appledore and mother was Amelia Tregear(From St. Just)...I have more information. Let me know if anyone is interested. My next step is to travel to Penwith and explore the area and towns my family lived. I will be in the Penzance area in mid to late March of 2017. I would be interested to meet anyone who has family connections...
