I am looking to clarify info on imprisonment of Robert Johns Moyle in Oct. 14th of 1851 at Bodmin. I need to find out the age to find whether this was father or son that was jailed.

The England and Wales Criminal Registers 1791-1892 (available on Ancestry) show that Robert Johns Moyle was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment on 14th October 1851 for 'stealing fixtures'. The Bridewell & Gaol Master Index for the year 1852 has the following:- Robert John Moyle Occupation: Grocer Birthplace: Breage Late Abode: Mullion Age: 29 I hope that provides the answer you require. Thanks Roadrunner. I'm new to this so appreciate all of the help. The Robert Johns Moyle that I have been searching seems to be the father, born 1797 in Constantine. First son, Robert, must be the one sentenced in 1851. His second son, John Johns Moyle is my line. Thanks again. Regards pgcruiser
