Matthew's excellent book, published 1892, is a must-read for all with interests in this area, and has quite a bit of information of direct genealogical interest and which is not readuily available elsewhere. Microfilmed by LDS and also available on CD. .

Thanks Trencrom - have seem bits of this in the past and taken some notes many years ago.

CT How do you download it when it shows as 'pdf google.com'? so far i've only been able to view them using the web based viewers...... or spend ages coping each page seperatly and pasting to a word document, that then is not searchable, as they go in as images
