ARRRGH!!!
Edward Quick of Mousehole born circa 1792 died feb 1864 fisherman of Mousehole Had the following children: Edward Quick John Willis Quick James Quick Grace Quick Elizabeth Quick wife Margaret....... Margaret Willis d/o John Willis
There is only a marriage to an Elizabeth Willis around the correct time to an Edward Quick, but no Margaret.
Question 1: did he marry both Elizabeth and then sister Margaret??? or is there a typo somewhere...she is margaret in the census.
Question 2: is Edward Quick the son of James Quick and Ann Tonkyn?
Question 3: with James being the son of William Quick and Catherine Jackett???

Nyuk, Nyuk, Nyuk! ;D Someone losing hair over that one! Hi Sally - The name is actually entered in the Paul Parish Register as Elizabeth but the bride signed with her 'mark' so she was not going to confirm one way or another what her name was! However, it was Margaret and she was the daughter of John Willis and ELIZABETH Cotton. I think therefore that the poor old clerk got mixed up between mother and daughter when filling out the details! Edward was the son of James Quick and Ann Tonkyn and James was the son of William Quick and Catherine Jackett. See - good news! CT
