I've just come across, and I'm I am very impressed with, the Canadian census indexing project available here: automatedgenealogy.com/index.html . They have 1901, 1906 and 1911 in work and links to the original census image, all without charge. The clever part of the process is the linking of records between databases, so for example an person's record in the 1901 census may be linked to his record in the WW1 solidiers attestation papers. I've managed to tie up a few loose using this site. Once again we have to thank individuals who give their time and effort to providing a resource which is available to the rest of the family history community free of charge.
