For those who had Cornish family go and work in the mines etc in Rhodesia There are Zimbabwe/Rhodesian Death Records which can be found on Family Search and are filed under Zimbabwe at the bottom of the page familysearch.org/search/collection/list#page=1®ion=AFRICAThe Images are free - at the moment Regards Sarch

And they have been there and been Free since February 2011. Quite useful but as they are 'Browse Images Only' it takes a bit of work to find what you want. I did, however, find one or two little Trewhella items there last year. Thanks Sarch for reminding us they are there. CT

For the Rhodesia records there is an alphabetical index Death Index listed under Surnames under that is the Death Registers and then the first number is the volume and the second the record and if there is a second number that seems to be for the will. So D.R. 41/33 237 would be Volume 41 and Record number 33 and 237 would be the number of the will which you will find in the Death Registers The Death Registers contain the Death Notices which if you are lucky will give place of birth and name of parents, wife and children The Death Notices 1904- 1976 (Separate section) and the forms are labelled Form of Information on a Death will give you cause of death and are listed under the names of towns and then by year. LDS seem to have the names switched around. I mentioned it as the images are free and no one knows if it will stay that way Sarch
