Hi,
Just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for obituaries and announcements in years gone by?
Also, the best way to search for Wills online?
Many thanks, Cathy

Cornwall Records Office online Catalogue will tell you which wills they hold and can copy for you and has guideline costs. Wills at the National Archive can be downloaded for £3.50 Wills after 1858 are listed in the National Probate Calendar ( can be accessed via Ancestry) cost was £5.00 not sure if that has changed.
Obituaries: The British Newspapers site is now run by Brightsolid and has subscription or pay per view costs. If you are in the UK the Gale Collection , which includes the Royal Cornwall Gazette can be accessed using your local library ticket.
