I've divided my search in half. My Mother's side from Cambourne and my Father's side from Hayle, but I see that Gwinear is in the middle and that both sides may have worked or lived in the beautiful village of Gwinear.
Mother's side - Cambourne - GILL, UREN, TREWIN, PENPRAZE HENDRA
Father's side - Hayle - TRESTRAIL, KNIGHT, TREMLETT, HOSKING,
I've traced back to the late 1700's and would love to connect to any descendants of my Cornish family. Photos and details of their lives would be such a blessing to receive.
I'm absolutely blown away by the huge amount of families that shared my family's surnames like UREN, GILL, TREWIN, HOSKING.
I've traced my great great great grandfather to the Trevaskis Farm in Gwinear in 1861 where he owned 4 acres of farmland. It is now a popular farm & restaurant with the same name as his farm.
God willing, I will return to Cornwall, a place that calls my soul.
in loving kindness, Linda Trestrail
