You will be pleased to know that I visited the Mount Sinai Lodge in Penzance in January and the Masters Song was sung by a beautiful voice belonging to W. J. Trewhella.

AHA! So that's what happened to it! I had a great voice once but it was stolen and all I was left with was an ordinary voice at the end of a rough passage! You found the culprit! ;D

They (Trewhellas not voices) get everywhere. In the St Ives Cricket Club handbook for 1990 the 1st XI captain was Chris Trewhella with M. and J. also playing.

I'm not yet sure who the vocalist is but I have an idea about the Cricketers! I think it is Christopher Trewhella from Trenowin with M and J being his sons Matthew and John. I spent quite a bit of time with them during my stay in Cornwall back in 1994. CT
