you will all be pleased to know that West Penwith has escaped the winter weather so far. we only had to break the ice on the bucket the birds drink from a couple of mornings. I know Sue will have suffered a bit in Cambridge, 4 inches or so there so I'm told. No doubt you lot in the Southern Hemisphere are complaining it's too hot! ;D

You can keep your cold weather!!!! ;D I am quite happy down here ......................... but still waiting for it to warm up. It has topped 40C a couple of days apparently and been in the high 30s a bit but I have not considered it really warm yet ........... and Summer is nearly over. Some News bulletins have broadcast about 'extreme temperatures' in Melbourne and around the State but the temperature hasn't got over 43C as far as I know down that way!! CT

Now that is not the sharing spirit.... Must go & scrape deep snow off car to go get provisions, as sun not doing its job.... I think 38 was our top temp round here, a few years ago, & we thought we would expire.... English wimps, eh?! ;D Sue
