I notice that the appearance of Email Addresses in posts is becoming more frequent so it is a good time for a gentle reminder in view of the potential for unwanted attention. When you join Penwith Genealogy there are certain questions asked when compiling your profile and one of the mandatory fields required is your Email Address. This is for Admin purposes. Under 'Account Preferences' you are then asked if you would like your Email Address to remain hidden. If you answer NO to this question then your Email is accessible via an icon next to any message you post. (The little Envelope under your Avatar) With that function available there is no need to print your Email Address in the text of a message where it is readily viewable to all and sundry whether they be members or not. Play it safe - use the features available and don't advertise openly if possible. CT

Good advice CT. Some people never learn.
