Hi CT, sorry to butt in here, but I'm on the GRO website online birth index and I think I've found the birth you are looking for.
Lilly Glasson Penberthy - 1865 - Apr/May/Jun Qtr - Vol. 5c Page 339
Mother's maiden name is a dash, which usually denotes an illegitimate birth.
Is this the one?

Yes, that is the one - she was baptized Frances Elizabeth Glasson Penberthy at St Erth 9th March 1866. At the time of baptism her date of birth was recorded as being 28th May 1865 but, as is not unusual, it would appear that information was incorrect. I suspect Lannanta has the birth certificate which states her name as Lily Glasson Penberthy and birthdate 11th May 1865. It is also not unusual for a child to be registered at birth under one name (in this case Lily Glasson Penberthy) and then baptised differently. In this case Lily Glasson Penberthy was baptised Frances Elizabeth Glasson Penberthy. As I also pointed out - I have seen numerous instances of a girl born/baptised as Elizabeth or Eliza but known as 'Lily'. A modern day example, perhaps, is the daughter of Prince Harry - Lillibet! CT
