hi all, i am researching the family of Stephen Barnes & Margaret Tonkin, they had 4 children that i am aware of Ann Curnow Barnes, Rosetta, James & Richard, Ann my link came to South Australia after marrying John Good of 
, Richard went to Scotland i think Rosetta Australia and James?, dont know what happened to MARGARET nee Tonkin and Stephen Barnes , he was the son of STEPHEN BARNES JRN. AND ANN RICHARDS, THE barnes family as far as i have researched wer from the ST. Buryan area cheers for any info Joanne
ps..ANN BARNES NEE RICHARDS DIED THE DAY AFTER GIVING BIRTH To a daughter ANNE in 1775 8th dec the baby died and mother 9th dec 1775...Stephen then remarried 14th Oct. 1776 in Paul to JOAN TREWAVAS they had 5 more children ANN 1777 Jane 1779, Thomas 1780, Sarah 1782, Mary 1786......at time of their marriage my Stephen Barnes b 1764 would have been aged 9 or 10 at the time of his mothers death......any relies out there....
