Those with subs to Ancestry will be delighted to know that images for 1911 are now browsable, although not yet searchable.
So if you know where you are looking - eg Sennen where there are only 2 enumeration districts, it doesn't take too long to find your ancestors!

If we go by past experience I think we should be hoping like heck that the decide not to worry about indexing the 1911 Census! At least that way we will have a better than even chance of finding what we want quite quickly and without frustration! And you see so much more when you read through one page at a time! CT

I've just noticed 1911 seems to be searchable (free) on FamilySearch since 8 June 1911. Doesn't give rest of household, just outline address place of birth & age, from my (very) limited trial.
But jolly useful nevertheless........
