I can't remember where I got this information, but I just want to confirm its date.
Bridget Thomas born June 9, 1771 in Crowan, Cornwall ? Any ideas on her Parents names?
She married William Yates (Yeats) on June 3, 1797, and she died Dec 23, 1853 at an age of 82 years. William died Jan 9, 1816 at the age of 42.
I found her in Census information as well for 1841 and 1851 in Phillack, Cornwall.
They had seven Children:
Ann Yates 1801 – Elizabeth Yates 1803 – Grace Yates 1804 – Thomas Yates 1806 – 1860 Charity Yates 1808 – 1823 Honour Yates 1810 – 1891 Eliza Yates 1812 –

G'day Snydly - just about need a road map to track where you are these days! Bridget daughter of Richard and Charity Thomas was baptised at Crowan 9th June 1771. (Note that this is a baptism date - there is no birthdate recorded) Richard Thomas, tinner, married Charity Reynolds, spinster by Banns 3rd May 1766 at Crowan Witnesses - Thomas Bastard, George Michell CT

So true about the road map ... although it might be better described as a flight plan. I jump from my mother's side of the family to my father's side on a regular basis. In fact I recently had a nice breakthrough on my father's side which ended up adding 50 people to my Ancestry tree ... and thats just the beginning! With the move still going on (finishing touches) ... I don't want to tackle any large problems yet ... like completing the Baragwanath roots in my Cornwall family. I will start soon on that one though ... and I know you will love to help with it CT et all. ;D In fact I think I remember a Trewhella in the mix with the Baragwanath's ... so I am thinking we are related somehow through that line of the family.

Thanks for the warning - I'lll do a runner! ;D Be warned that you need a really, really, really good imagination when searching for Baragwanaths - especially in the Census records!
