Hello again - I must use this note to merely acknowledge your latest as there is no way I can possibly do anything right now.
Will try and look further into this in the coming days.

Hi Donna, Have started an answer to this under 'Surname Interests'. Not a great deal of help as yet but there are a couple of things that may be of interest.
Will leave it to you to decide where you wish to pursue the dialogue.
Perhaps it should be moved to one of the Parish Threads - maybe Paul, or even St Buryan, dependant on where the majority of events took place for this family.

Hi Ian, Thanks for the information. I will have to mull this over for a while. I found a Pascoe mentioned in some of searches. The spelling does seem to change, even here in the states. Thanks again

No problem Donna - take your time and work out what you need. Do not be too concerned about the spelling of Pascoe/Paskow/Paschoe etc., etc. as it is all the same. But when you find Pasquas and similar - you are normally looking at a female. Ian

hi Ian, It looks like the pascoe who was married to dinah about 1745 could be the same one baptised in 1720. Don't know how anyone else may fit. The mary who died at 90 years could have been pascoe's mother the age works ,I think. It fits that John and Mary are the right ones I am looking for. Lordy this taxes the old brain cells!!Thanks,Ian.

I agree - but would like to find more proof. We need to start looking for relevant Wills and also any other surviving documents from the time that might be of help. It is unfortunate that so many PRs from early Cornwall have not survived but there are often other surviving documents that can help us - if we can identify and locate them. I am sure we will be able to sort at least some of this problem out eventually. BTW - you think your brain cells are taxed. ;D Ian
