I reckon you might find they are all mine! The Martin living on his own age 68 was the youngest brother of my 2xgt-grandfather. File obtained.

Crikey 3,000 miles away and you are ducking for cover! You must be a little worried being one of the last survivors of the breed Smarticus Arsicus! ;D

lol Interesting to see how many Eddy's Urens and others were over there at that point in time. My direct ancestors had left cornwall a fair few years prior to then, but i'm sure some of those must be connected in some way shape or form

Is that the same line that produced the religious leader Smarticus Arsicus the Holy?

I believe so - however there is evidence to suggest that my line descends from Smarticus Arsicus Septimus the Confessor.

You will recall that SAS the Confessor was famous for breeding unicorns in the hills of Bulgaria.

Thanks for this Chris. Now I have another family mystery. My great grandparents, Philip HOSKING and Maria nee UREN have an adopted daughter Margueretta Jane aged 4 living with them. I have never heard mention of this girl prior to this census. No one in the family seems to know anything. Still have never been able to find a marriage for Philip HOSKING and Maria UREN, circa 1889. Their daughter Florence May is living next door, now I have to poke around for the other daughter Elizabeth, I think she was now living with her husband William Thomas CURNOW over in Halsetown.

See new thread "adopted daughter" Was Elizabeth's husband the same William T who married Margaretta Jane Brooking?
