I've just got access to the site for newspapers 1600-1900
if anyone would like me to look up anything for them.
If you could give specifics and dates that would be good as
some surnames have hundreds of mentions in various papers.

Another one for Mike Busvargus Info The Royal Cornwall Gazette, Falmouth Packet and General Advertiser published Thursday 20.5.1869 John Busvargus 1598 To the Editor of the Royal Cornwall Gazette Sir, the pedigree of an old Cornubian of this name appeared in the Heralds Visitation for 1620. His will is or was in the Archdeaconery Court of Cornwall. he lived at St Just in Penwith and the original name of his family was 'Lethon'. He was born in 1598 and married Agnes the elder daughter of John Hill of Trenetbicke of Wendron in Cornwall, gent, the descendent of an ancient family in that county and was buried at Wendron 3rd December, 1637. For seven generations it appears that every member of the Busvargus family married into houses situated within 30 miles of their own seat and generally within 10 miles. The heiress of this family married the Rev Jonathan Toup before 1713 and secondly the Rev John Keigwin. the goods and chattels of John Busvargus were valued at £141 9s and formed the singular list of articles following .......... I will have to post the will which is also in the paper when my eyes come back to life! L

Hi Lamorna, This last one for John Busvargus looks very useful. It'll help to plot the family in the early 1600's. Excellent work Mike
