I have just had a look and found nothing to match - so I think you can count Lelant out. I've already checked Phillack and know the marriage was not there so we need to think of the next possible place to look. Some Parishes, such as St Ives, I cannot check as I do not have access to marriages between 1812 and 1837 but the record will be found!

The lack of the marriage record is puzzling. But I'm pretty happy to have made some tentative connections. I found the death dates of Dorcas and of Stephen, her husband, in Ventonleague. He died in 1816, so his children were left without a father fairly young. I was able to get his birthdate from his age at death, and when I put that into my FTM files, a connection was suggested that this Stephen Penberthy is son of Stephen Penberthy and Elizabeth Ninnis, married 1777 in Lelant. So if that is all true, it is great progress.

This could be quite useful...

Lelant Registers:- I have P&T of course for marriages -1812 I now have Marriages 1813-1837 (Courtesy OPC) Also Marriages 1837-1906 (again Courtesy OPC) Baptisms at Lelant Primitive Methodist Chapel Births at Lelant with coverage from1600's-1800's (Obviously not complete as no Trewhellas appear and there is only one Quick) Baptisms at St Uny's Church Lelant 1813-1840 (in Date order) Same in Name order which does include the Trewhellas and Quicks Lelant Deaths(Burials) 1600's-1800's Similar to Births at Lelant - no Quicks but several Trewhellas so coverage does not appear complete. Hope that is of use.

Clear as mud... What is P&T please? As for the others, do you actually have the records in your possession, or are you getting them via email from Chris for specific surnames? Are any of them online (aside from what Chris has on her site, which is just a smattering and a bunch of them she got from me...) ? I have the PR at my FHC, I just cannot seem to ever get there anymore - sigh...

P&T is Phillimore & Taylor Marriage Transcript. The rest, apart from you BT's are all from online sources. Will try and get the sources to you after work tonight as don't have time just now. The Aussies have just one the Cricket World Cup and I now have about four hours to get some sleep before getting ready for work again!

Please post the online sources under "Links" when you get an opportunity. Won the cricket? Not as good as if they would have won the Soccer World Cup, eh? Blast those Italians! ;D

But this was the CRICKET WORLD CUP and the Aussies went through undefeated! Played over about eight weeks we beat every side we played quite convincingly. That includes England, South Africa and, in the final, Sri Lanka. ;D Now I will try to place the required links here:- www.cornwall-opc.org/That is the home page of the Online Parish Clerks. www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,52054.0.html This one should get you to the Online Parish Records URL. In both cases you will need to 'surf' through to find the information you want but you will find it most useful. Any problems let me know and I will try to sort it for you. I think that you may find help for one, or other, or both at either ROOTSWEB or GENUKI. Let me know how you go. Ian
