Yes I noticed that too and when I did notice my first thought was that all the links had been removed! I found them when I looked a little further. Last I checked the images were downloading again so hopefully all is well and there was only a little maintenance going on. CT

Hi The St Ives Marriages seem to jump from 1883- 1900 to 1913-1922 What happened to the years 1901 to 1912? There is also no distinction between Halsetown and St Ives Sarch

Possibly a register that has not, for some reason, been filmed.
There are many Parishes with similar gaps.
Halsetown was formed out of St Ives so all records are together - however you can tell them apart by the Volume Number.
St Ives is Volume P91 Halsetown is Volume P82

Okay, having seen the amount of stuff on there i retract my last post, and now suggest that it's my MONTH gone Word of warning guys and gals........ i've come across some which are named incorrectly. Eg Minster, Marriages ( can't remember which one), when you open it up, it's actually Burials. So if there's a lot of folders for a parish it's worth opening ones your not interested in, incase it's not what it actually says it is.

But I would warn anyone to get what you want quickly. Monmouthshire records were on this site, until someone objected and then they were withdrawn. Have they pulled the Cornish records, as predicted? I can't find them in the list any more. Can't say I'm surprised since they had CRO copyright all over them, but it's certainly a great loss if they don't appear again.

Not exactly! There is a link to them in the Familysearch Beta site although currently it is not working. This happened about 24 to 36 hours ago. From what I am hearing it is possible that we won't have the same open access again ........... at least not in the foreseeable future. To keep trying to see if they become available the current links are as follows:- beta.familysearch.org/Once this link is opened click on 'All Collections' Then choose 'Europe' from the selection on the left. Just scroll down to 'England, Cornwall Parish Registers 1538-1900' and click the link. The Norfolk Parish Registers are also there and appear to be Images Only just as the Cornwall ones were. But I can access Norfolk with no problem. CT

Thanks for that, CT. Holds out some hope that they will be restored. There has been a discussion in soc.genealogy.britain regarding migration of items from the pilot familysearch site to the the beta familysearch site and the suggestion that registration may be required.

Darn it! Checking my files, looks like I got side-tracked & missed 9 Cornish direct ancestor images out when doing my gathering. But thankyou for the silver lining information for now, CT: my other grandfather's family originate from Norfolk!, & I had little information/access re them till today, but have now acquired a GGGparent & 4 GGGGparents on that side of the family, direct from the images of tiny villages! Oh dear. The link appears to have disappeared altogether now from the beta site, leaving only some Durham, Norfolk & Allerton Peculiar images. Oh well. Sue
