This facility has actually been around for quite some time now.
In fact I posted a note about it probably more than twelve months ago. HeatherC also posted a message but in both instances the address was different.
I have been using the site since I first found it and there is a lot of very useful stuff there.
And a lot of US stuff was only updated and added last wek.
From this site I have found many birth, death and marriage certificates although mostly for the US.
However it is well worth searching and it pays to keep an eye out for regular updates.
For those who use Familysearch regularly you can access the site from any page.
If you are in the IGI Search Page just click on 'Search Records' and then 'Record Search Pilot'.

Well that's interesting. I think i've dismissed it previously as being 'the IGI', as in same site same information. Mary Ann Eddy's non conformist Baptism is on there CT.... you remember the one you transcribed very recently for the OPC. Not as much detail. But i think I know where i'm going to be spending the rest of this afternoon

There is a lot of good stuff there if you search for it. As I have said previously - in many cases, particularly with American records, you will find images of the actual PR entries or Certificates. CT

Just a reminder to everyone that if you use this site it pays to check back on a regular basis as new records are being added consistently. Whilst waiting for some other downloads to complete I decided to do just that - check again. And I have now found more records that I thought I may never find and these were certainly not there last time I checked! ;D So don't get frustrated because you can't find what you want - just remember to keep trying.
