Not sure that I understand this comment. I searched on Ancestry and found them straight away. Only entered the name Robert Humphries and did not bother with age, place or anything. They came up third on the list. After reading the following posts I checked FreeCEN and found them the same way. CT

Hi CT I first searched by age and name and surname Humphrys on everyone and only when that didn't work did I search by leaving the age out. But I then searched for Mary and then Minnie by name and then Jonathan not knowing that their names were wrong or left out Only lastly did I search for Robert but as it can be contracted to Rbt or Robt I just searched for R Humphrys with a fuzzy search on the surname which then finally turned up the correct Robert Humphries/Humphrys ;D whew! Surname in 1871 and 1881 Census is spelled Humphrys and 1901 Humphreys Mary Humphrys is the daughter of James Wallis and Mary Uren Robert Humphys is the son of Jonathan Humphreys Harvey and Honor Wallis (Honor rand James Wallis were siblings) Jonathan seems to have dropped Harvey/Harvy after his marriage to Honor (he was the bastard child of Mary Harvey) and taken the surname of Humphrys. Johathan's son Robert was baptised Robert Humphrys on 7 April 1822 in Sennen Jonathan is in the 1841 Census as Jonathn Humphreys living at Treeve with wife Honor Regards Sarch
