Hi Has anyone managed to download "The Register of Baptisms, 1612-1812 St Just" ? www.archive.org/details/registerofbaptis00churCT gave the website a while back. I now need go backwards and do some more checking of baptisms in St Just, when I used the microfilm I just wrote down the main lines of Surnames I was interested in, so it would be of great help if I could now download this Register from American Libraries. I have downloaded from American Libraries before and not had any trouble. Regards Sarch

Well, it beats me. I couldn't even see a 'Read Online' button, let alone being able to download anything. Looking at the list of files under the 'HTTP' link, there didn't seem to be anything like the complete scanned document available to download.

It's been like that for at least a couple of weeks. I might suggest that you get hold of the First Book of Madron while it is still available just in case the same thing happens.

I had given up on this american library. I also would like to get a copy of thr St Just baptisms pre 1630. Jane Busvargus and Hercules Grenfield are in my tree. They are my 9th great grand Parents.I hope that I can find Hercules's birth details in this record so that I can establish his father. I suspect that his father was John married to Mary Wilmot. If any one can help I will be most grateful

Hi everyone, I just found the link above (http://www.archive.org/details/registerofbaptis00chur) and was equally disappointed that it was unavailable. For a while there I thought I was doing something wrong . I would love to have a copy if someone would be so kind to email to me. Thanks in advance, Malcolm
