Lets see if I have this important family correct in my tree before I go further. After working with CT on other family members I thought I should slow down and be more thorough. Hello Snydly
That is how I see it. I have the following notes in my family database for John (1805) which I have copied for your interest:
Ann Glasson was baptised on the 14 June 1823 to Jakeh Glasson and Jennifer Murrish.
Mary Dunstone note as follows:
Hope that helps

I have discovered two sets of potential parents for Catherine Osborne: Father William Osborn (1756-) Mother Elizabeth Foot (1757-) Father Matthew Osborn (-) Mother Mary Philips (-) I wonder which fits better into the preceding information.

Leonard Quick,1859. An Ancestry "contact" has sent me a photo (scan) of Leonard and most of the children. His wife is Mary Ellen Q. They were living in Ludgvan in 1901. David

Snydly
According to me Catherine was the daughter of Matthew Osborn and Mary Phillips as was her sister Elizabeth (born c 1781) and who married John Quick at Towednack on the 22nd Sept 1804.
John was the son of John Quick and Elizabeth Richards.

Wouldn't mind seeing that photo myself! CT Snydly - the connections as given by Lannanta are correct. Catherine was bp. 14th May 1775 at Zennor d/o Matthew Osborne and Mary Phillips.

Obviously the person who submitted this had not followed the family as closely as I and had therefore not worked out that John Quick's first wife was still living up until 1873!
John married Ann Glasson about eight years after the baptism of their last child and just 33 days after the burial of 1st wife Mary.

Baden P.. pic. I am not sure how to send this photo. to anyone: it was sent to me via an Ancestry link. I can provide detail of the "source" through e-mail or PM should anyone be interested. My disorganised Tree on Ancestry will show the detail and it can be "merged" into a database (I think!). Or I can scan the on-screen page, but the pic. will be pint-sized. My Tree is "Martin and Rabenold GEDCOM 2"...but beware "multiple" entries for the same persons.... David

David - I have worked out how to do it and have sent a copy to Lannanta via email.
If you click on the thumbnail picture in 'Media Gallery' it will open a screen with an enlargement.
Just to the right of that are two options "View Original" or "Print".
Click on "View Original" and the picture will be opened in another window.
Then just place the cursor over the picture, right-click on the mouse and "save picture as".
Give it a filename and save it.
Only thing is that you will have to transcribe the caption for yourself.

David & CT
Have received the photograph and boy oh boy that old fella in the front on the left looks just like my great grandfather Joseph Glasson of Lelant. Many thanks and much appreciated.

So just which John 'did' you have?
Perhaps you had better explain what you have for the relevant John Quicks and we can try to sort them out for you.

Apparently the caption is that it is known for sure that Leonard is in the back left corner. It may well be that this Leonard is the son of Leonard and Mary Ellen because he does not look like a 50 year old who has been a farmer all his life. Then you could also say that the gentleman in the back right corner is his brother John. The three children in front are their siblings and are from right - Constance (1898), Baden (1900) and Frances (late 1901). I believe that the picture was taken around 1905 to 1908. You could then postulate that the two ladies at the back are the sisters of Leonard and John. Then getting really radical you could finish off by saying that the older gentleman in the front is Leonard senior, he is at this time a widower, and this is a family photograph taken at his residence - and he really does look like a 50 year old farmer.
