May be of use to somebody From - The West Briton and Cornwall Advertisers 20 October 1848 MARY DAWE, 29, pleaded Guilty of stealing, on the 3rd of September, a pint of beer and a half-pint of gin, the property of WILLIAM BURGESS, of Trengove, in Illogan. A second indictment charged her with stealing three bottles of wine from the same prosecutor. Verdict, Guilty. Mr. Roscorla, on behalf of the prosecutor, stated that the prisoner had previously borne a good character. - Three Months' Hard Labour.
