Snydly - absolutely no guarantees at this point but here is what appears to be the likely family of John Richards.

Baptisms relating to the above are (all at St Ives):-
John bp. 15th November 1825
John bp. 1st June 1827
James bp. 13th February 1829
Mary bp. 24th April 1831
Thomas bp. 27th January 1833
Jane ****
William bp. 20th Marych 1836
Margaret Noall bp. 21st January 1838
Nancy ****
Elizabeth ****
I have not yet found a baptism for Jane whilst Nancy and Elizabeth are later than the baptismal records I currently have.
The name Margaret Noall Richards may be the clue to John's identity so I will look at that in a moment.
Mary was born at St Ives but her age in 1851 causes a small problem.
The only possible Mary warren baptised at St Ives:-
Mary d/o John and Ann Warren bp. 8th January 1804
This is 'probably' her but a little more work will need to be done to help confirm that.
Her parents could be:-
John Warren, mariner, married Ann Uren, widow 5th October 1802 at St Ives
With Ann being a widow we need to find a first marriage to see how old she may have been but this is at least a start.
In 1841 John stated his age as 38.
Usually the age was round down to the nearest five but there are occasions, such as this, where it appears a more accurate age is recorded.
In this case we are looking at about 1802 or 1803 so the mostly likely possibilites at St Ives would be:-
John bp. 28th April 1802 s/o Thomas and Grace
John bp. 20th May 1804 s/o John and Ann
Problem is that John appears to be deceased by 1851 so we have no record of where he was born.
However:-
John Richards, tineer married Ann Richards 17th October 1802 at St Ives
Thomas Richards, mariner married Grace Bawden 7th April 1782 at St Ives
Of these I would favour the former but purely based on occupation at this time.
Back to the use of the name 'Noall' which would seem to have some significance.
A rather tenuous link but if John was indeed the son of John and Ann Richards then John Senior could be the following:-
John bp. 13th June 1773 St Ives s/o John and Mary Richards
John Richards, tinner of Zennor married Mary Noall 5th August 1769 at St Ives
I have just found Mary in 1861:-
1861 Census
Beach, St Ives
Mary RICHARDS, head, wid., 57, knitter, miner's widow, St Ives
Mary do., daur, unm, 29, knitter, St Ives
Nancy do., daur, unm, 20, knitter, St Ives
Elizabeth do., daur, unm, 16, knitter, St Ives
It does look more and more like the above baptism will be the correct one.
In 1841 daughter Mary was one of two possibilities as far as I can see.
Lodging at Digey, St Ives with William and Jane Williams seems the most likely.
Or she ws with the family of William and Ursula Daniel.
In the case of the Williams family I think she may have been a niece.
William Williams married Jane Richards at St Ives 10th January 1832.
Hmmm - that will not quite work!
Jane Williams was age 35 in 1841 so born between 1802 and 1806 in which case she was:-
Jane d/o John and Jane Richards bp. 11th March 1804 St Ives
John Richards, yeoman married Jane Thomas 25th November 1801 at St Ives.
I think I will hand it over to you now for a little perusal.
It is the best I can come up with after a very, very quick look around but it is at least something to work with.
